  • Counting with Judah

Judah, our 2 year old, has a love for numbers and counting. We've seen that in him before he turned 1. You often hear him saying "wan, tew, reee, ore, ive, six, saaaven, ate, ine, ten...yayayayay" it's hilarious. So last night I heard him chatting to himself, and sure enough it sounded a bit like the arabic for one..So I started teaching him to count from 1-10 in arabic, and within minutes, I could hear him say... "Waahad" I was over the moon, my little guy is speaking arabic...how cute!! Today we've been at it on and off, it's so funny, as he's attempting to make those difficult sounds associated with arabic, so cute...!!!

I've been blessed by the following blog, whose owner has helped a great deal  regarding autism. I joined the biomedical treatment for europe group, and have found a sea of knowledge..I'm just a little bit tired, it's seems like an information overload...a great problem to have. I shall be listing a bunch of sites that have come highly recommended by this group. I am just realizing how lightly I've regarded good nutrition and diet...Thank God for this information era..

Good job Judah! It's so wonderful to see them learn new things, isn't it?

Yeah, good nutrition is SO important, but people don't usually want to face the responsibility of it, not to mention all the conflicting information. Do you have "Nourishing Traditions"? It's a great cookbook/source of information. My favorite nutrition sites are www.westonaprice.org and www.mercola.com
