The 12th in our little Village
This year our wee village of Kesh hosted the Fermanagh county celebrations for the twelfth of July. Approximately half a million people across Northern Ireland attend celebrations and parades throughout the North to commemorate a very important battle here, which ironically enough occurred on 1 July 1690. The parades were originally intended as an opportunity to thank God for the deliverance of Ulster's Protestant Christians by William of Orange from an oppresive regime. Regrettably, many people don't remember the original purpose and use it for evil purposes, but the parade here in Kesh was a wonderful family atmosphere and the boys just loved it. Around a 100 bands from all over the county of Fermanagh participated in it. We had a nice time watching the different bands march and play traditional tunes. Here are some photos from this year's parade. Thank God for sending us King William!
Happy Twelfth...Josiah in his red, white and blue, and Judah in his Orange!!

Hi again :) The children's chewable wafers is the one we're looking at. Right now, he has an expensive little store-named vitamin we purchased from the Sunflower Market when we still lived in Las Vegas. We can't find anything like that vitamin here so we are ordering from Kirkman and the children's multivitamin chewable wafers look like the best way to go for us. I'm still hunting down a calcium supplement because all of them that I've found have lactic acid in them and that's "iffy" on whether or not it's GFCF. The children's multivitamin wafers only have 10% (I think I remember).
Yes, that's what we're worried about. The diapers without a solid mess. Zack has never had one. And the one day that he WAS potty training... he sat on the potty the entire day and had constant yucky messes throughout. When we finally got him to leave the potty chair, he had a BAD accident. I don't think there's any control for him... and it's so yucky, I feel horrible for him. Leaky gut can come out in that form and in the form of constipation. But the good news it, I've heard you can heal the gut once he's off the proteins that cause it. But it can take 6 months or more to get all the proteins out of his system so get ready for the long haul! A doctor can diagnose leaky gut.
BTW, your boys are gorgeous! I love those pictures. What is July 12th though? I've never heard of it :)
Looks like a nice celebration! Must have been a lot of people in Kesh!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOO THANK YOU!!! What a lovely reminder of the days when I'd visit my Grandma and go to the 12th parades!! My Uncle and Cousin still march with the Albertbridge Accordian Band....sigh....wonderful reminder....I wouldn't mind more if you have them :O) Hope you are well!
so sad that people forget the true meaning of the parade but awesome that you do and I'm sure will be teaching your children about it!!
I'm so glad you're finding more and more helpful information about Autisim. I pray it becomes less and less overwhelming!!
So Cute about Judah counting in arabic!! Selah just started counting in english and it's so cute. I am finding that we were so disciplined with teaching Abigail things yet Selah it's hard to remember to do this..
Hey you! How are you feeling! Parade looks awsome. And my nephews are cuties!
