Are you kidding me?!!
Just got this in the post and I Have to take it off my chest!!
This is what it costs to hire a Son-Rise in home child outreach facilitator.
£37/Hour teaching time (6hours a day)
£8/Hour travel time (traveling from Budapest, Hungary, for this specific therapist)
Travel Costs
Accomodation and Meal Costs
Are you kidding me?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why don't I just hand you my bank and credit card details while I'm at it...I don't even know anyone who earns that much an hour..

Ouch! How long would you need them? It wouldn't be too bad for one week, would it?
You can obviously make some good money in therapy.
My friend is a computer programmer for some special java language few people know, and he makes $123 an hour. Other professions can make even more. But I still sympathize with you.
I realize that there are lots of professionals who make plenty of money out there. But when I think of how many hours it'll take me to pay her for one hour, I just can't help myself and melt.
From the way she had written her resume, she only has a BA and then had completed the Son -Rise programme. So no Masters degree that most ABA therapists carry and therefore charge accordingly.
Fair play for her for earning so much money. The most hurtful reality is that most families who need her services are already struggling with autism and can't afford all these prices that come with these therapies... not many therapy optioins out there as it it..and then the boombastic price tags of these therapies...painful reality.
Her services will be most useful after parents' have completed the Start Up training, really just a bit too much..and the part that annoyed me the most was the charge for her meals?!! Come on now...CEAT ends up being much much cheaper.
